Portfolio Manager, Washington
Andrea Estes is a portfolio manager for Washington state, directing local and regional investments addressing barriers to economic mobility for youth and families. Andrea has spent over a decade in Washington’s nonprofit and philanthropic sectors, working to advance the impact, efficiency, and effectiveness of social change organizations. Prior to joining Ballmer Group, she co-managed more than $1 million in grants and scholarships at Inland Northwest Community Foundation, serving eastern Washington and north Idaho, and founded the Inland Northwest Nonprofit Conference, an educational event focused on social sector capacity building. Andrea has an undergraduate degree in anthropology from the University of Washington and a master’s degree in business administration from Southern New Hampshire University. She is a lifelong resident of Washington, and she and her family live in Seattle.
