Portfolio Manager, Washington
Kacey Guin is a portfolio manager for Washington state, directing local and regional investments addressing barriers to economic mobility for youth and families. Kacey is an impact-focused leader with over 20 years of experience building capacity and changing systems to produce more equitable outcomes. Most recently, Kacey was Director of Greater Tacoma Community Foundation’s Whole Child Partnership, a cross-sector initiative to provide expanded learning opportunities for kids. Before that, Kacey served as the Director of Continuous Improvement for Seeding Success, which works to reduce education inequities in Shelby County, Tennessee. Kacey also served as a Senior Program/Policy Advisor for the City of Seattle’s Department of Education through three mayoral administrations. Kacey hails from Kentucky, but she has spent almost 15 years living in Washington and currently lives in Tacoma. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University and a master’s degree in public administration from University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Policy.
